Lough Ramor, my hometown lake, is a lake of crannogs and legends, and one which takes its name from a mythical character who possessed a fat, strong neck. It is a lake which changes mood according to the light and weather. Here, on a warm May evening, the glow of the lamplight attempts to compete with the magnificence of a deep orange sunset.
