Chatting “as Gaeilge” while walking the short hike to the top of Mullagh Hill in Cavan as part of a “Siúlóid Ghaeilge”, was a lovely way to spend a summer afternoon. This hill and area, associated with Saint Kilian looks down over the tranquility of Mullagh lake, and a pleasant pastoral scene of rolling hills in which a wee herd of cows took time out to relax and chew the cud.
