Travelling down the East of the Mullet Peninsula, I was struck by the layered effect of land sea and wild flowers. The grey/blue of sea and sky, the brown peaty soil, the fiery orange Montbretia, the Naples Yellow of grassy seeds and the green shrubbery mixed with the pink/purple of Willow herb, concocted a wonderful cocktail of colour.
